Daniela, our Director, found some Katydid eggs and we brought them in. Last week - they hatched! After creating their habitat and learning about them, you can come see them too! These guys might look teeny tiny at first, but they can get up to 12 cm in length!
Katydid’s, also known as bush crickets, are usually green with wing markings that resemble leaves, making it difficult for predators to recognize them! Can you find two of them in the first photo below?
