Joshua Lothringer is the principal investigator of four Hubble Space Telescope programs and two James Webb Space Telescope programs to study the atmospheres of planets, brown dwarfs, and stars. He comes most recently from Baltimore, MD where he was a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University, home of the Space Telescope Science Institute. Before that, he received his PhD in Planetary Science at the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory in 2019 and a BA in Astronomy from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014. He is currently an assistant professor of physics at Utah Valley University.
