TREATY AT BRIGHAM CITY, WITH SHOSHONE INDIANS
July 30. Governor Doty and General Connor made a treaty of peace with the Shoshone Indians at Brigham City.
In August, the troops under command of Captain Smith killed twelve Indians near Shell Creek Station, Utah.
