Come meet National Geographic Explorer Alison Criscitiello as she presents live from Mount Logan (highest mountain in Canada).  Hear about the history of sea ice in polar regions, understand how drilling into ice can inform us about our past, and learn how ice core chemistry works!  We have been selected to be a featured on-screen classroom for this live stream session, so come prepared with your questions for Alison during our one-on-one time! Smart Defense | 4-Week Training Course

Dates:  May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16

Time:  6 – 8 pm

Location:  Hutchings Museum Institute (55 N Center St, Lehi, UT)

Cost:  $300 for full course, registration required

Bring hope and end the victimization of sexual assault and abuse through prevention, recovery, and advocacy.  Enroll in Smart Defense, a self-defense training course designed specifically for women and girls, and the opportunity to work closely with highly trained mixed martial arts experts and law enforcement professionals.

Flint Knapping

Date:  Saturday, June 4

Flint knapping is the making of flaked or chipped stone tools. This technology was used in historic times to manufacture gun flints and in prehistoric times to make spear and dart points, arrow heads, knives, and many other tools. Every first Saturday of the month!
