About Kumari

In the remote Nepalese region of Kumari, the Tamang community lives isolated from even the most basic of necessities. Considered among the lowest caste in Nepal, the people of Kumari suffer from prejudice, neglect, and extreme poverty.

Through Jagat’s vision, the generosity of donors, and the hard work of volunteers, Kumari residents are continuing to gain access to electricity, medical care, education, and other necessities to empower their community.
